Simon has been a professional writer for 35 years and can write on most subjects, although he prefers subjects that have a healing or holistic slant. His first career was as a journalist when he worked for a series of newspapers in the Midlands as reporter, feature writer, deputy editor and editor. Later he became a travel writer and wrote for publications in the UK and abroad including The Independent, CNN Traveller and The Herald and Sunday Herald in Scotland. He won a feature writing award for the Midlands while still a trainee and is a published poet, and has work kept in the British Museum. He is the winner of the Wyvern short story prize at the 2020 Wells Literature Festival.
His blog at soulvision.co.uk was chosen three times as one of the most interesting blogs on the web. He previously wrote blogs regularly for medium.com on a variety of subjects and styles. He is currently compiling some of his work for his first book. He encourages all his clients to journal.
